Over time, the grooves in your teeth can become stained and, if not addressed properly, decayed. While stained areas remain small, they can be removed and a thin sealant can be placed in the grooves. These sealants help prevent the tooth from decaying for many years.
If the stain has progressed to a cavity, we can fill the cavity with a tooth colored filling. The bonding of these fillings to the tooth creates a tight seal to help prevent the re-decaying of teeth.
